Cornwall Pubs & Restaurants

Take fresh, natural ingredients of the highest quality. Add a generous dash of culinary flair. Season well with plenty of marketing nous. What have you got?

Answer: a recipe for the outstanding success of Cornwall's food & drink industry.

If you've ever sampled the superb, freshly caught seafood served up by one of our world-class chefs, chilled out over a succulent locally produced steak at one of our famously funky beach restaurants, or washed down a delicious hand-made pasty with a pint of traditionally made Cornish Ale, then you won't need much persuading of the quality of Cornish fare.

Pubs

The Sheaf Of Wheat

The Sheaf of Wheat pub is situated in the heart of the busy seaside town of St Ives, in Cornwall. Open all year round for food and drink. Licensed Free House serving beers, wines and spirits. Located just up from the Cinema, it is within easy reach of the pretty harbour and shopping areas.

The Falcon Inn

Situated in the unspoiled Valley of "Lanherne" lies the village of "St Mawgan" where you will find the 16th century pub, "the Falcon Inn".

Here we offer a warm and friendly atmosphere, coupled with a reputation for serving "good food" and wines, local "real ales" and 10 "malt whiskies".

We also offer award winning "gardens" with "children's indoor play area" - ideal for long, lazy lunchtimes, or, for the winter months, a roaring, "open fire" to sit and chat around.

Lanivet Inn

The pub sits at midway on the Saints Way walk which is a trail between Padstow on the North Coast & Fowey on the South Coast. It is regularly walked by visitors to the area.

We are situated in the centre of Cornwall. There is a Cross in the church yard that marks the centre point.
We are 7 miles from the Eden Project and just 3/4 of a mile off the A30.

We have a large car park at the rear of the inn. Also a large enclosed apple orchard with a pergola and decking with plenty of seating where
the kids can play in safety.

So why not come and visit us for a good home cooked meal and a pint of real cornish ale and of course a real cornish welcome.

Tolcarne House Hotel

Photo of Tolcarne House Hotel

This charming Victorian house stands in a superbly elevated position in its own extensive grounds, with spectacular views downhill to the wooded Jordan Valley, and of the National Trust owned cliff tops. The gardens have wide lawns, including a croquet lawn, mature shrubs and majestic trees. Resident owners, Margaret & Graham Crown, have long experience in making their guests feel welcome and the house itself adds greatly to an atmosphere of contentment and peace. Its charm derives not only from its situation within Boscastle, but also from its 'character' feel. The interior decor has been carefully selected to blend with the period of the house and with the sympathetic introduction of modern comforts.
